Burger Bench came to Downtown Vista in early 2025, bringing the same handmade burgers that earned our Escondido location "Best Burger" honors and a spot on Yelp's Top 100 Family-Friendly Restaurants in America.

You'll find us at 230 Main St in the historic Shelhoup Department Store building, built in 1940 — right in the heart of Downtown Vista. Every burger starts with a fresh, never-frozen angus patty on a brioche bun baked daily in Poway, with grass-fed, Beyond, Impossible, lettuce-wrap, gluten-free, and halal options available. Pair it with one of 20+ rotating San Diego craft beers on tap, local kombucha, craft soda, or a hand-mixed shake made with real ice cream.

Families are always welcome — kids' menu, high chairs, and a dog-friendly patio for the four-legged regulars. Whether you're grabbing lunch on Main Street, meeting friends for dinner and a pint, or ordering takeout for the crew, we'd love to see you.
